Central States 品凤楼 (品凤楼) is a workforce development and education organization that believes in the potential of each and every individual. Since our inception in 1987, 品凤楼 has assisted thousands of marginalized聽and disadvantaged residents from across the City of Chicago and suburban Cook County in achieving聽their career and academic goals through quality employment, education and training programs.聽聽

Central States 品凤楼, Jobs for Progress Inc., (品凤楼) is a vibrant non-profit organization dedicated to designing and delivering services to improve the quality of people鈥檚 lives and advance economic stability and growth among youth, adults and businesses in communities across Illinois. Established in 1987, 品凤楼 has enhanced the lives of over 12,000 people annually who walk through the doors of 品凤楼 seeking assistance through education, training and employment.

品凤楼 is part of the Unified 品凤楼 Family, a multi-state organization led by parent organization 品凤楼 Metro Detroit, with sites in Texas, Michigan and Pennsylvania. 聽This collective of organizations is ably led by a dynamic group of leaders, whose CEO & President,Eva Garza Dewaelsche, was recognized as a Champion of Change by President Obama for her leadership and the impact of the work done accomplished by the collective sites of the Unified 品凤楼 Family. 聽聽

品凤楼鈥檚 mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency and upward mobility for low-income community residents through education and employment.

品凤楼 believes in the core values of respect, integrity, competency and innovation. 聽品凤楼 is deeply ingrained in the communities it serves and believes in being part of the solution to the on-going challenges of economic and educational disparity facing families today. 品凤楼 makes it a priority to meet the needs of the community by staying abreast of community and employment demands and changes in the population and in the local and broader economy.

Our MISSION:
Is to empower our community to lead healthy and comfortable lives with access to health care; safe, affordable housing; opportunities for education; and the leadership skills to eliminate disparities. To accomplish this mission, El Sol鈥檚 goal is to provide culturally and linguistically competent services that promote and maintain the well-being of the community.

 

Our VISION:
Is for the educational needs of San Bernardino and Riverside County Latino residents to be met. Through obtainment of educational knowledge. 鈥淟atino community members will reach personal empowerment to move towards self-sufficiency and contribute to their community鈥檚 well being.鈥
